KRC Motorcycle Endurance Racing Championship 2007
Endurance Racing Sprint Start

The KRC Motorcycle Endurance Racing Championship

The KRC Endurance Championship is a combination of speed, stamina and careful planning in order to gain as many laps as possible within the time frame of the race. In the great Traditions of Endurance racing the starts feature a sprint across the track to the machines. During the race there will be rider changes, refuelling stops, tyre changes.

The team are all important as are careful planning and strategy with the objective of finishing the race with as many laps as possible. A typical endurance team will consist of the riders, timekeepers, signallers, pit crew and other attendants. The pit crew will maintain the race bike, refuelling it, changing tyres, giving it regular attention and making swift repairs if something goes wrong. Timekeepers not only keep track of how the team is doing on the circuit but make sure riders return to pit lane when their allotted racing time is finished.

Team building success

Awards are presented at each round to overall and class winners. At the traditional end of season Presentation Dance, the series champions in Overall, Class and Individual categories are presented with their silverware and financial rewards.
